The World Moyamoya Alliance is excited to provide opportunities to bring the global moyamoya community together. Getting a moyamoya diagnosis can feel extremely isolating. Most patients have never heard of moyamoya and don't know anyone else with it. Discovering that you're not alone can be empowering and comforting. 

The WMA Team will host regular educational and social events. The events will include experts from across the medical community as speakers, facilitate breakout sessions dedicated to "groups within our group" (adult patients, youth patients, caregivers, dual-diagnosis patients, etc.) and host social gatherings for patients and family members to connect.
